Belinda Warren

Research Technician

Belinda recently completed her Bachelor of Science (Hons) with the Green Fuse group, with her project investigating the molecular nature of flowering time adaptation in common bean. Her experimental work included analysis of flowering time, the expression of key flowering genes, and circadian regulation of leaf movement. Currently, she's working on the understanding the structure of seeds coats in legumes and how this affects germination.
In her spare time, Belinda is a keen volleyball player and enjoys taking care of her many house plants.

The Green Fuse research group acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal peoples as the first inhabitants of lutruwita (Tasmania) and the traditional custodians of the lands on which we conduct our research. We pay our respects to elders past and present.
